Account managers put their sales experience to use for a good cause while having fun at the Blarney Irish Pub in downtown Toledo. In just two hours, they raised more than $100 for FLCC, and one lucky Blarney patron won $105 in the process!
They had so much fun putting it on that they will be holding another on June 22 at the Bronze Boar, another well-known downtown establishment. The next raffle will be held from 10pm from midnight again, but this time, there will be two winners. Patrons must be present to win, so to give those who do not want to stay that late a chance to win too, there will be a drawing at 11pm and then another at midnight.
The account managers' fun-filled, competitive spirit will be put to work again to out-do themselves from the last raffle and raise much more for the community organization.
Feed Lucas County Children provides hot, well-balanced meals during the summer months to children in the Toledo area who do not have access to the same quality and nutrition of the meals they get during the school year. They partner with various organizations to combine the lunches with day camp-like activities, such as sports or bible studies.
